Dog Agreement
Please evaluate whether you and your dog are able to abide by the following POLICIES:
Dog must be fully housebroken, non-shedding, and under 60 pounds. One dog limit. No cats or other non-dog pets.
Dog must remain on main level only, never be on beds or furniture, and never be left alone in farmhouse, except if in a crate.
Owner must bring their own dog bed, feeding bowls, and towels. House rugs, dishes, and towels are not to be used for dogs. Clean and dry dirty paws/coat before entering house. There is a hose outside east door for cleaning and a clothes line for drying towels.
Protect wood floors by not playing fetch and other dog games indoors and giving food and water in main floor bathroom. Quickly resolve scratching at doors, digging, etc.
Bring bags for picking up and disposing of dog waste.
There is lots of wildlife at the farm. Dog must be supervised outside (not wandering farm) and leashed if necessary so as to not enter trees, tall grass, or crop fields where birds and animals are nesting. Be aware that coyotes and birds of prey frequent farm.
There are rodent bait stations (this brand) at the farm that are advertised as “kid and pet resistant”. For added safety, each plastic bait station is typically covered with a brick.
The dog fee is $20/night. A credit card will be held in case of damage or extra cleaning.
